Job Title: Wiring & Soldering Operative Company: Forwessun Woodend Industrial Estate, L24 Position Details: Permanent, starting immediately Hours: 37.5 Hours per week; Monday to Thursday 08:30 to 17:00, Friday 08:30 to 14:30 (Open to Part Time hours candidates) Starting Salary: £11.44 / hour Essential Experience and Skills: Able to learn to read electrical wiring schematics Problem solving skills Previous experience in a workshop environment using hand tools etc Having an industrious work ethic and a good eye for detail Job Specification Forwessun supports the electronics industry worldwide and is currently looking to increase its manufacturing and assembly team. The role will include: Working within a small, workshop based, manufacturing team. Wiring of test fixtures; Use of a wire wrap gun on square pins Use of manual hand wrap / unwrap tool Use of soldering iron Use of wire crimps Use of semi-automatic wiring machine Following test engineer documentation Identification, investigation and solving of open and shorts within a closed electronic system. General electronic component identification Manual assembly of test fixtures; Screw fitting General hand tool usage Assembly of intricate small and large parts Highly precise craftsmanship and high attention to detail Able to work independently and efficiently. Completion of QA checks throughout the manufacturing process, resolving issues found until systems work consistently and reliably.
