You will work with the butcher team to prepare meat for our retail customers, hotels and restaurants across Jersey.
This is a hands-on role working in a chilled preparation environment with early morning starts.
Key Responsibilities
- Break down whole beef carcasses into primal and secondary cuts
- Prepare meat for further processing and retail sale
- Support the butcher team with carcass preparation
- Ensure accurate traceability from carcass to finished product
- Label and track products correctly
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygieneCore skills required
