About The Role
HC-One are looking for a Maintenance Operative with solid experience in maintenance, building, DIY, cleaning and housekeeping. You will also need technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, as well as ideally some IT skills. Whenever you communicate with a resident or co‑worker, you will be truly considerate and kind.
As a Maintenance Operative you will make sure our Residents live in a place that’s proactively inspected and brilliantly maintained at all times. You will carry out audits and keep records up to date. Whether you’re replacing a tap or mixer valve, fitting a new extractor fan, repairing the timber on a bedroom window or putting up new wallpaper in the dining room, you will do so with a sense of kindness above anything else.
Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. You must recognise signs of possible abuse, harm or neglect and know what to do if concerns arise. All colleagues attend safeguarding training appropriate to their role and undertake additional training in associated areas. You can seek appropriate advice and report concerns, including escalation if action is not taken.
