Duties
* Assist in food preparation and cooking under the supervision of senior chefs
* Ensure all dishes meet quality standards and presentation requirements
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations in accordance with food safety regulations
* Support the team in managing food production during busy service periods
* Follow recipes accurately and contribute to menu development ideas
* Assist with stock rotation, storage, and inventory checks
* Support supervising staff in training junior team members when required
* Uphold high standards of hygiene, safety, and cleanliness within the kitchen environment
Requirements
* Previous experience in a professional kitchen or hospitality setting is desirable
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene standards
* Strong skills in food preparation, cooking, and presentation
* Experience with food production and restaurant operations
* Proven ability to work effectively within a team and demonstrate leadership qualities when necessary
* Supervising experience or team management skills are advantageous
* Good organisational skills with an eye for detail
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak hours
* Passion for culinary arts and willingness to learn new techniques
* Relevant culinary or hospitality qualifications are preferred but not essential
