The Firm has specialist departments dedicated to Personal Injury/ Medical Negligence claims, Commercial and Residential conveyancing, Family Law and Children Law and Wills and Probate matters.</p></br><h3>The Role</h3></br><p>We are looking for a qualified personal Injury/Medical Negligence solicitor with at least 3 years experience. The role will involve handling a mixed caseload of personal injury work, as well as Medical Negligence work. You will be supported by the Head of Department and secretarial support.</p></br><h3>Main purposes</h3></br><ul></br><li>To undertake fee earning work and provide a profitable contribution to the work of the department.</li></br><li>To ensure the successful development of the firm in line with the business plan.</li></br><li>To provide excellent levels of client care.</li></br></ul></br><h3>Key tasks (not an exhaustive list)</h3></br><ul></br><li>Conduct of matters on behalf of Clients.</li></br><li>Periodic coverage of fee earning work undertaken by colleagues.</li></br><li>Management of support services for which he is responsible, including supervision of own secretarial support.</li></br><li>Participation in marketing activities whether on a firm wide, departmental or office basis.</li></br><li>Financial control with particular regard to cash flow control through collection of monies on account and billing procedures.</li></br><li>Effective file management to ensure efficient and timely communication to clients and resolution of matters.</li></br></ul></br><h3>Additional Responsibilities</h3></br><p>Promotion of the practice through participation in local Business forums.</p></div>
