Machine Operator / General Operative - Immediate Start

Hours: 07:30 - 17:45, Monday to Thursday
Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour
We are looking for an experienced Machine Operator / General Operative to join a busy and dynamic manufacturing team in Coventry. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in producing high-quality work, enjoys hands-on tasks, and wants a stable role with a consistent schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
* Safely operate and monitor machinery to ensure smooth production
* Perform general production and workshop duties as required
* Inspect products for quality, identify defects, and report any issues promptly
* Assist with machine setup, loading materials, and basic adjustments
* Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
* Follow all company policies and health & safety procedures
Requirements:
* Previous experience operating machinery is essential
* Strong awareness of health and safety practices in a production setting
* Reliable, punctual, and a strong work ethic
* Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment
* Flexible and adaptable to the needs of a busy production line
