Senior Architect
Location: Liverpool
Salary: £40-47,000 DOE
A well-established, employee-owned, planning-led consultancy with a national footprint is currently seeking a Senior Architect to join its multidisciplinary design team based in Liverpool City Centre. The organisation is recognised for its expertise across various development sectors, offering integrated services in masterplanning, architecture, landscape architecture, planning, infrastructure, sustainability, and research.

Daily Duties
* Lead and manage architectural projects in the residential and commercial sectors through all RIBA work stages
* Prepare quotations, tender submissions, and fee proposals
* Produce detailed architectural drawing packages, specifications, and construction documentation
* Oversee the work of junior team members and provide mentorship
* Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, and internal teams
* Chair meetings, record minutes and actions, and ensure follow-up
* Act as contract administrator, administering JCT Minor Works and RIBA Domestic contracts
* Conduct regular site visits to assess progress, quality, and technical compliance
* Maintain commercial awareness and deliver projects within budget and timelines
* Use AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Photoshop, and InDesign proficiently (SketchUp desirable)
Ideal Candidate
* ARB registered Architect with substantial years post-qualification experience
* Demonstrated project leadership across various work stages
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset
* Ability to work independently while fostering collaboration within the team
* Sound knowledge of UK building regulations and construction methods
* Proficient in relevant design software (AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Suite)
* Experience in contract administration and site inspections
* Holds a full UK driving licence
