Overview
Location: London (3 days onsite) Contract: Initial 3 months Rate: Up to £650 per day (Outside IR35) Interview Process: Single stage
We're working with a well known UK digital business looking to bring in a Senior Platform Engineer to help strengthen and scale their AWS cloud platform. This is a hands on contract role suited to someone who enjoys building robust infrastructure, improving developer platforms, and driving automation across modern cloud environments.
Responsibilities
* Designing and improving AWS cloud infrastructure at scale
* Building and maintaining infrastructure as code (Terraform)
* Supporting CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments
* Improving platform reliability, monitoring, and performance
* Working closely with engineering teams to enhance developer experience
Qualifications
* Strong hands on experience with AWS in production environments
* Deep knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, ideally Terraform
* Experience with containerisation and Kubernetes (EKS preferred)
* Strong understanding of CI/CD and cloud native engineering practices
* Ability to operate at a senior level within fast paced engineering teams
