Wolviston Management Services are proud to support a leading industrial services provider with the recruitment of an experienced Conveyor Belt Vulcaniser. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician to join a safety-focused, forward-thinking organisation delivering critical conveyor maintenance and installation services across heavy industrial environments.
You will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of conveyor systems that are fundamental to production and logistics operations.
What You'll Be Doing
Carrying out hot and cold vulcanising of conveyor belts in line with manufacturer specifications and industry standards
Completing belt installations, repairs, splicing, and replacements across a range of conveyor systems
Diagnosing belt faults and wear issues, providing practical repair solutions
Working from engineering drawings, splice layouts, and technical instructions
Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
Adhering strictly to site HSEQ procedures, risk assessments, and method statements
Liaising with site teams, supervisors, and clients to coordinate works and minimise downtime
Maintaining tools, equipment, and materials in a safe and serviceable condition
Supporting shutdowns, breakdowns, and planned maintenance activities, including out-of-hours work where required What We're Looking For
Proven experience as a Conveyor Belt Vulcaniser within heavy industry, quarrying, mining, steel, ports, or manufacturing environments
Strong knowledge of rubber conveyor systems, belt construction, and splice techniques
Competent in hot vulcanising using presses and associated equipment
A strong understanding of health & safety legislation and safe systems of work
Ability to work independently on site and as part of a wider maintenance team
Flexible approach to working hours, including travel and site shutdowns
Full UK driving licence preferred Why Join
