Job Description:
A well-established, rapidly growing UK business with a nationwide operation is seeking a Transport Compliance Manager to take ownership of driver and vehicle compliance across a substantial national fleet.
Reporting to the Head of Transport, this role is central to maintaining operational safety, legal compliance, and efficiency across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain all vehicle compliance records - service history, MOTs, brake tests, LOLER.
* Manage a rolling 12-month maintenance schedule.
* Conduct and lead 6-monthly compliance audits.
* Oversee defect reporting, investigation, and resolution.
* Monitor driver hours and tachograph data via Tachomaster.
* Investigate missing mileage, card issues, and lead-in time compliance.
* Liaise with the transport team to communicate compliance updates.
* Ensure third-party suppliers meet all legal and safety obligations.
Key Experience
* Proven experience as a Transport Compliance Manager within a Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain environment.
* Strong knowledge of DVSA regulations and tachograph legislation.
* Proficient with digital compliance systems (e.g., Tachomaster).
* Organised, accurate, and detail-focused.
