Deputy Children’s Home Manager
Location: Newport Staffordshire
Salary: £35,000 - £42,000
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
We are currently recruiting for a Deputy Children’s Home Manager to join a dedicated residential care team supporting children and young people.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Residential Support Worker or Deputy Manager looking to progress within a supportive and forward-thinking organisation.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home
* Lead and support staff to deliver high-quality, child-centred care
* Ensure safeguarding policies and procedures are followed at all times
* Assist with staff supervision, development, and performance management
* Contribute to care planning, risk assessments, and reviews
* Promote positive outcomes for children and young people
Requirements
* Experience working in children’s residential care
* Previous experience in a senior or supervisory role (preferred)
* Strong knowledge of safeguarding and Ofsted regulations
* Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (minimum)
* Working towards or willing to complete Level 5 (desirable)
* Full UK driving licence (preferred)
