We are seeking an inspirational and highly motivated Deputy Headteacher to play a pivotal role in the strategic leadership and management of Peterston super Ely Church in Wales Primary School.
Working closely with the Headteacher, the successful candidate will contribute significantly to shaping the vision, direction, and future success of our school. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and experienced leader who is passionate about primary education and committed to achieving the best possible outcomes for all our pupils.
Peterston super Ely is a Voluntary Controlled Church in Wales Primary School, in the small village of Peterston super Ely, with 124 pupils on roll including our Nursery.
We aim to work as a Christian family to enthuse and equip independent life-long learners. At Peterston super Ely Church in Wales Primary School we aim to create a stimulating and supportive environment that allows our pupils to feel valued and inspired, and to experience success. Through high standards of teaching and learning, we aim to develop our pupil’s skills, and pride ourselves on the broad and balanced curriculum which we offer. The pastoral care we provide and the caring Christian community which exists within our school help to develop the well-being of our pupils and make them feel happy, safe and secure. About You
You will need:
* Qualified teacher status
* Up-to-date knowledge and understanding of what constitutes excellent teaching and learning and how to implement it.
* Significant recent experience as a senior leader in a primary school
* Understanding of the school’s distinctive Christian character and context
* Proven experience of curriculum leadership demonstrating a measurable impact on standards of learning and teaching.
