D2m Services is looking for an experienced Handover & Completion Manager to support one of its major energy EPC projects. The position involves both Home Office preparation and Site execution phases, ensuring the smooth delivery and handover of industrial facilities to the end client.
You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all activities related to system completion, commissioning support, documentation, and final handover to the Owner, in close collaboration with the Construction and Commissioning teams.
Main Responsibilities
* Prepare and manage completion and handover documentation in line with project milestones.
* Administer and maintain the project Completion Management System (e.g. EasyPlant or equivalent).
* Coordinate with Engineering, Construction, and Commissioning departments to ensure system readiness for each completion phase.
* Compile, monitor, and follow up on punch lists, ensuring timely resolution of outstanding items.
* Report regularly on completion progress and identify any deviations or critical issues.
* Ensure all systems and subsystems reach Mechanical Completion (MC) and Ready for Commissioning (RFC) status on schedule.
* Manage the final handover dossiers to the client, ensuring all certificates and documentation are properly validated.
* Support vendor coordination and field activities related to pre-commissioning and commissioning.
* Ensure compliance with project quality, safety, and documentation standards.
* Contribute to project procedures, training, and continuous improvement within the completion scope.
Requirements
Candidate Profile
* Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Process, or equivalent).
* 10+ years of experience in large EPC projects, including Home Office and Site phases.
* Proven track record in Completion / Handover / Commissioning management roles.
* Strong knowledge of completion systems (EasyPlant, ICAPS, PIMS, or similar).
* Fluent in English (spoken and written).
* Excellent communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
* Leadership and mentoring ability within multicultural project environments.
* Based in France or willing to relocate during Home Office phase;
availability for regular site missions in Europe and Asia.
