Field Service Engineer - Local Exhaust Ventilation Systems Buckinghamshire About the Role We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team, specialising in the installation, maintenance, and repair of Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) systems. This is an exciting opportunity for a technically minded professional who enjoys hands-on work and ensuring workplace safety through effective ventilation solutions. Key Responsibilities Conduct planned preventative maintenance, servicing, and thorough examinations of LEV systems in accordance with COSHH regulations and HSG258 guidance Perform LEV system installations, commissioning, and modifications at client sites across various industries Diagnose faults and carry out repairs to LEV equipment including fans, filters, ductwork, and control systems Conduct performance testing using appropriate instrumentation to ensure systems meet required specifications Complete detailed service reports and certification documentation Provide technical advice and recommendations to clients regarding system performance and compliance Respond to emergency callouts and breakdown situations in a timely manner Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure excellent service delivery Essential Requirements Proven experience in LEV systems or similar ventilation/HVAC engineering Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with hands-on fault-finding skills Full UK driving licence Ability to work independently and manage your own workload effectively Good communication skills with a professional, customer-focused approach Comfortable working at heights and in varied industrial environments Desirable Qualifications Recognized engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent) P601 LEV testing qualification or willingness to obtain Experience with LEV testing equipment and instrumentation Knowledge of welding, fabrication, or sheet metal work IPAF or PASMA certification What We Offer Competitive salary dependent on experience Company vehicle, tools, and equipment provided Ongoing training and professional development opportunities Pension scheme
