<div><h3>Overview</h3><p>37 hours per week.</p><p>We have an opportunity for a HR Business Partner to join an established team providing high‑quality support services across both corporate services and schools.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Coaching managers/Headteachers to enable them to be effective people managers.</li><li>Providing advice and guidance on matters such as attendance, employee performance, disciplinary actions, and organisational change.</li><li>Attending in‑person meetings across Bridgend County Borough.</li><li>Protecting children, young people, or adults at risk as a core responsibility of all council employees.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>CIPD qualified or able to demonstrate considerable relevant experience.</li><li>Excellent communication, analytical, and organisational skills.</li><li>Experience supporting managers to find innovative solutions.</li><li>Proven professional HR generalist experience in a busy, multi‑disciplinary HR environment.</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>The ability to greet customers through the medium of Welsh is a requirement for this post.</li></ul></div>
