We are seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Care Manager to lead our regulated care services. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for ensuring compliance with CQC standards, managing staff and operations, and driving continuous improvement across the service. You will be joining a values-led organisation at an exciting time of growth, with the opportunity to shape service delivery and contribute to strategic development., Lead the day-to-day operations of the care service, ensuring safe, effective, and person-centred care
Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and internal quality standards
Manage recruitment, training, supervision, and performance of care staff
Oversee care planning, risk assessments, and safeguarding procedures
Monitor budgets, staffing levels, and resource allocation
Build strong relationships with customers, families, professionals, and commissioners
Represent the service during inspections, reviews, and multi-agency meetings
Ensure all communications and documentation are processed via Careberry and other systems
Essential:
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
Minimum 2 years' experience in a care management role
Strong understanding of CQC standards and inspection frameworks
Proven leadership and team management skills
Experience managing safeguarding and risk
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Proficiency in care management systems (e.g., Careberry)
Commitment to person-centred care and ethical leadership
Desirable:
Nursing or clinical background
Experience in a newly registered or start-up care service
Business development or tendering experience
Advanced training in PBS or complex care
Experience delivering staff training or mentoring, Disability Confident
