We’re seeking an experienced Construction Lawyer to join a leading UK infrastructure organisation, supporting major development and investment projects that shape the future of national transport.
In this role, you’ll provide expert legal support to Infrastructure and Procurement teams, advising on a broad range of construction and commercial matters. You’ll work on significant infrastructure projects, applying your strong knowledge of NEC contracts, and will have opportunities to broaden your expertise across other areas such as Operations and Technology.

Key Responsibilities
* Act as a trusted legal partner to the Infrastructure and Procurement teams.
* Provide specialist legal advice on construction and infrastructure projects, with a focus on NEC forms of contract.
* Support on commercial incentivisation and procurement arrangements across the business.
* Draft and maintain standard form contracts, precedents, and practical legal toolkits.
* Create clear, user-friendly guidance to help teams comply with legal and contractual obligations.
* Offer post-contractual advice on project delivery and potential disputes.
About You
* Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales).
* Strong experience working with NEC contracts in a construction or infrastructure environment.
* Proven ability to deliver pragmatic and commercially focused legal advice.
* Excellent communication, drafting, and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Flexible and collaborative mindset, with a willingness to broaden into other areas of law as needed.
