Job Description: Sous Chef
We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Sous Chef to help us create exceptional food experiences for DINE on a part-time basis, contracted to 32 hours per week. As a Sous Chef, you will work alongside a passionate team to deliver outstanding culinary experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers.
2. Identify opportunities to improve our food service.
3. Create a positive kitchen environment where your team feels welcomed and supported.
4. Support the team in delivering our tasty food concepts to customers.
5. Represent Compass Group UK&I and maintain a positive brand image.
6. Assist with food ordering, stock control, and controlling food waste.
7. Oversee kitchen cleaning responsibilities to maintain hygiene standards.
8. Support the team in managing budgets and meeting financial targets.
9. Ensure compliance with Food Handling, Hygiene, and Health and Safety standards.
10. Be a brilliant communicator and build relationships easily.
11. Strive for excellence with motivation and initiative.
12. Work effectively under pressure and demonstrate reliability.
13. Show a passion for great-tasting food.
