We’re delighted to be working with a welcoming secondary school in Weymouth who are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Tutor to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator to make a real difference to students’ progress and confidence in Maths.
About the role:
Hours: 3 days per week (9:00am – 12:30pm)
Start date: Immediate
Location: On-site at a secondary school in Weymouth
Duration: Ongoing
Group size: Small groups of 5–6 KS3 pupils who require additional support to reach expected levels
You’ll be delivering focused Maths sessions designed to help pupils build their skills, understanding, and self-belief. The role is ideal for a qualified teacher or experienced tutor who enjoys working with small groups and is confident in adapting lessons to meet individual needs.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent tutoring qualification
Recent experience teaching or tutoring Maths at KS3 level
Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills
A positive, patient and encouraging approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
