RG Consultancy are delighted to be working with a successful company based in Chorley who are looking to recruit an experienced Assistant Management Accountant.
Reporting to the Management Accountant, this Assistant Management Accountant role is ideal for an AAT part-qualified or qualified candidate looking to develop their career within a co-operative team.
Responsibilities
* Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts
* Support month-end and year-end close processes: accruals, prepayments, adjustments
* Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations
* Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes
* Monitor cash flow and assist with forecasting
* Support budgeting and variance analysis
* Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers
* Assist with VAT returns and compliance requirements
* Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders
* Studying towards or qualified in AAT
* Proficient in Excel and accounting software
