HR Business Partner Manchester

We are looking for a HR Business Partner to join our UK people team! We are looking for someone who can act as a catalyst and consultant for business leaders providing a professional HR service within assigned business areas. The Business Partner role educates on the value add activities of HR and how these can support the business. You will be part of the transition of our service offering to help shift the level at which HR current supports and coaches the business. Focus will also be on retaining and attracting the best people, reducing attrition, and developing an inclusive culture. We also want to have some fun in our team, working together to do some great things that really make a difference to our people and their work.
What will the role involve?
1. You will drive a high-performance, engaged culture by supporting and challenging management teams to focus on performance and development in their people decisions and strategies.
2. Reviewing Talent decisions and succession and development plans ensuring focus also on management of underperformance.
3. Help support the HR model using our HRIS system and the HR Shared Services model to ensure we work collaboratively across the team. Driving consistent standards across HR and across the business.
4. Lead on Performance management for your aligned areas – focus on creating increased feedback culture.
5. Maintain a commercial view of the people practices ensuring we make the right decisions for our people that also drive strong business outcomes and commercial results.
6. Work alongside the Recruitment team to ensure Business areas have a clear, agreed workforce plan. Focus on proactive recruitment, annual resource forecasting, quality of recruitment processes and local on-boarding practices to attract the best people.
7. Development of change and organisation management strategies, translating into development activities
8. Lead and support on projects to provide a HR service that is focused on continuous improvement – project management focus to successfully lead on cyclical HR projects (Engagement, Diversity & Inclusion, CSR, HR Process Digitalisation)
