Home Ownership Officer Location: SE1 London Salary: £43,000 per annum Job Type: Permanent, Full Time Are you driven by delivering exceptional customer service, managing a varied workload, and developing your career within homeownership? I’m working on behalf of a valued housing provider who is looking for an experienced Home Ownership Officer to join their team in SE1. In this role, you’ll be responsible for delivering a high-quality service to a portfolio of homeowners across Southeast London. You’ll bring strong leasehold knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the confidence to manage a demanding caseload with professionalism and care. What you’ll be doing: Managing a patch of homeowner accounts, ensuring a responsive and customer-centred service. Issuing clear and compliant Section 20 notices. Handling queries relating to Estimate and Actual service charges, major works, and legislative requirements. Managing solicitor enquiries, lease extensions, alterations requests, and statutory processes including Right to Buy and Right to Acquire. Acting as a champion for the customer, providing clear advice and support. Overseeing relationships with third-party managing agents.About you: Minimum of three years’ experience in a customer-facing leasehold or homeownership role. Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, including service charges, statutory consultation, and RTB/RTA. Excellent customer service skills across face-to-face, telephone, and written communication. Able to prioritise effectively, work under pressure, and meet multiple deadlines.
