Job Description: Supply Chain and Logistics Coordinator (Freight)
Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented professional.
You will be responsible for "sanity checking" of licensed applications to the final booking of
global shipments. The ideal candidate has a "right first time" mentality and a proven track
record in high-accuracy environments using Sage 200 and the Google Workspace.
Key Responsibilities
● Technical Application Auditing: Process and "sanity check" licensed thermal camera
applications to ensure configurations meet technical and regulatory requirements before
fulfillment.
● Commercial Documentation: Generate and process accurate Commercial Invoices,
ensuring correct Incoterms, HS codes, and country-of-origin declarations for international
trade (export).
● RMA Management: Handle the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) process,
including the creation of formal quotations for repairs or replacements.
● Logistics & Portals: Manage daily shipping operations, including booking consignments
via various freight forwarder portals and ensuring all tracking data is synchronized.
● Data Management: Maintain and update internal trackers using Google Sheets and
Excel, utilizing formulas to ensure inventory and order visibility.
Required Experience & Skills
Sage 200 Proficiency Mandatory. Significant previous experience
navigating the Sales Order Processing (SOP) and stock modules.
Technical Admin
Proven experience in thermal camera license applications-advantage but not essential
Logistics Knowledge
Experience creating commercial invoices and navigating international shipping requirements.
Software Suite Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs,Sheets) and Microsoft Excel for data
management and reporting.
Communication Ability to liaise between Supply chain, and external logistics partners.
Essential Competencies
● Precision & Sanity Checking: You possess the "eagle eye" required to spot errors in
license applications or shipping documents before they leave the building.
● Workflow Ownership: You are comfortable taking an order from a quote to a repair
(RMA) to a final international shipment without supervision.
● Systems Fluency: You can jump between Sage 200 and shipping portals (like DHL, FedEx,
or UPS) seamlessly.
● Minimum 3–5 years in an Operations, Supply Chain, and license application role.
● Previous experience handling RMA processes and repair quotations.
● Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment where "licensed" or "regulated"
products require extra layers of scrutiny.
Working location & hours
● Office based at Ware.
Monday-Thursday 8.30-5.30, Fridays 8.30-2.30
