What will your essential responsibilities include?
1. Assist the Compliance team in establishing and maintaining a robust compliance framework (including the oversight of corresponding policies and procedures) which allows AXA XL to comply with FCA, PRA and Lloyd’s requirements.
2. Assist the Compliance team in managing AXA XL’s regulatory relationships, FCA, PRA, Lloyd’s and overseas regulatory authorities including preparing for and assisting in regulatory visits.
3. Liaising with the business owners to ensure AXA XL is able to demonstrate compliance with the Principles For Doing Business.
4. To act as main point of contact within the UK for licensing queries, dealing with most queries, and escalating as appropriate.
5. Providing compliance advice to the business, which will involve knowledge and familiarization with all relevant legislation and regulation. The provision of compliance advice will include drafting policies and procedures, providing written advice, and face to face advice.
6. Assisting in the preparation and delivery of a compliance training plan for the legal entities, and actively participating in internal training, including new starter inductions.
7. Participate in the maintenance of legal entity compliance documentation including department and business policies and procedures.
8. Assisting all Compliance Governance matters, including submission of regulatory applications and notifications.
