Operational Finance Support
You will work full time 37.5 hours per week in a hybrid capacity with 2 days per week at a site based within the North West/North East region. Travel across services within these regions is required.
Reporting to the Head of Operational Finance Support, you will support, train and govern the site administrators for the part of their role which interacts with Finance.
Key Responsibilities
* Training and supporting new and existing site administrators
* Ensuring accurate information is provided for the Accounts receivable function
* Ensuring that payroll information provided and the systems that are relied upon for payroll are accurate
* Supporting the sites to understand and follow purchase ledger policies
* Supporting the sites so that they understand how to fully reconcile their petty cash and service user monies
* Providing assurance that sites are 100% audit compliant
* Liaising with all finance functions and internal audit to understand areas where additional training is needed
* Delivering on a set of KPI’s on site performance across all responsibilities to provide visibility on effective working practices and controls
* Implementing new and amended existing working practices and policies to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness
* Being visible at site through in person visits
* Facilitating meetings both remotely and at site
* Providing effective feedback and recommendations to the day to day running of finance to continue to improve working practices with sites
* Building effective working relationships with various stakeholders
* Supporting the adoption of new systems and processes
* Supporting communication and message handling from finance to sites
* Providing cover for absence at sites if required
* Identifying and delivering on any efficiencies and reporting on any value created
