Location: Milton Keynes (Hybrid: 2–3 days per week in office)
Salary: £110,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus

We are a FTSE-listed, multi-billion-pound turnover Automotive brand experiencing rapid transformation. As a dominant leader in their sector, they continue to invest heavily in the future of retail, infrastructure, and sustainable technology.
The Opportunity
Operating as an extension of the executive search function, they are seeking a commercially minded operator to lead their Strategic Finance division- specifically focused on Fuel, EV and property business partnering. This high-profile role directly influences the long-term capital allocation of the group, managing a substantial CAPEX budget.
You will own the financial strategy for our retail property portfolio, fuel infrastructure, and their rapidly expanding Electric Vehicle (EV) charging network. This is a critical investment area for the business, offering significant exposure to group executive stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
* Strategic Leadership: Shape the financial roadmap for estate expansion, fuel operations, and green energy initiatives.
* Capital Allocation: Own and optimize a major CAPEX budget, ensuring high-return investments across property and EV infrastructure.
* Commercial Decision Support: Deliver robust financial modelling, scenario planning, and investment appraisal for complex, multi-million-pound projects.
* Team Management: Lead, mentor, and upscale a high-performing, ambitious team of 4 finance professionals.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor to Executive Directors, translating complex financial data into actionable corporate strategy.
What We Are Looking For
* Qualifications: ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified (5 years+ PQE)
* Experience: Proven track record in corporate finance, strategic planning, or commercial finance within a large-scale consumer business (Automotive, Retail, FMCG)
* CAPEX Expertise: Direct experience managing large-scale capital expenditure, ideally linked to property, infrastructure, or energy transition.
* Leadership: Strong leadership capability with a passion for developing talent in a fast-paced environment.
* Communication: Exceptional storytelling ability with data, capable of challenging and influencing senior executive stakeholders.
