We are recruiting for an experienced and hands-on Senior CNC Setter to join a well-established precision engineering manufacturer. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer with experience setting Doosan single spindle and Citizen twin spindle/twin turret CNC machines, who is looking to play an important role within a busy and growing production environment. The successful candidate will support production efficiency, quality, tooling improvements, and workforce development, while also assisting with programming when required. Key Responsibilities * Set and optimise Doosan single spindle and Citizen twin spindle/twin turret CNC machines * Support production to ensure optimum efficiency, quality, and output levels are consistently achieved * Carry out programming adjustments and support programming requirements when needed * Assist with setting and operating other CNC machinery as production demands require * Drive continuous improvement across tooling, cycle times, and machining processes * Support improvements in machining stainless steel components * Inspect finished components to ensure they meet engineering drawings and customer specifications * Read and interpret technical engineering drawings * Resolve machine, tooling, or process issues and escalate where necessary * Use a range of measuring equipment to verify tolerances and component accuracy * Support and mentor ...
