Daily or Live-In House Manager required for Private Estate in Oxfordshire - £60-90K DOE
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a highly experienced and professional Daily House Manager to oversee the running of a large private estate in Oxfordshire.
We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a House Manager role, ideally within Oxfordshire, and who lives within a 40-minute commute of the property.
This is a long-term, full-time position working for a dynamic and warm London-based couple who visit every 1-2 weeks.
Duties:
* Oversee the day-to-day management of a large private residence
* Supervise maintenance contractors, gardeners, domestic staff, and supplier relationships
* Maintain accurate household spreadsheets, budgets, and maintenance schedules
* Manage staff rotas and ensure smooth daily operations
* Provide regular updates and reports to the principals
* Ensure the home is guest-ready at all times, particularly during busy weekends
* Liaise confidently and professionally with external teams and visiting guests

* A confident and proactive House Manager with a charming yet authoritative demeanour
* Highly organised with a keen eye for detail
* Proven experience managing large properties and staff teams
* Strong communication skills and discretion are essential
* Confident driver with in-depth knowledge of the Oxfordshire area
* Hands-on, solution-oriented, and adaptable to a fast-paced household
* Competitive salary based on experience (£60,000–£90,000) DOE
