Overview of the role
The role includes shift work and weekends on a rota basis. We offer flexible positions and a range of working patterns to suit personal commitments. We will provide training and mentoring to help you become a skilled professional, with in-house training free of charge and a defined career path from day one. You will help ensure the people we work with are safe, happy and lead fulfilling lives while enjoying activities and outings.
Key duties
* Providing personal care – including bathing, toileting, dressing and help with feeding
* Medication administration
* Assisting and getting involved in residents' daily activities, hobbies or outings
* Following care plan guidance alongside Company policies and procedures
* Developing an open, honest, and considerate working relationship with residents
* Maintaining written daily records
* Attending and completing training, as required

Hours: 24/36/42
Salary: £12.80 per hour

Where will you work?
Buckfield House has well-trained staff who support people with autism, dual diagnosis of autism and learning disability with challenging behaviour, and other complex needs. The staff team is friendly, conscientious and committed to helping people live happy, meaningful lives. Buckfield House is located on the outskirts of Leominster, with access to supermarkets, shops, a hospital, GP and dental services, sports, leisure and educational facilities, and transport links including a bus terminal and main-line rail to Shrewsbury, London Paddington and the Midlands.
