About the Opportunity
Amentum are recruiting for a Senior Programme Director to support delivery across our energy programme portfolios. This role will support hybrid working and will also require frequent business travel. Key responsibilities:
Customers and Growth
* Leading the establishment of strong and enduring relationships with the customer, partners, supply chain and stakeholders to ensure strategy delivery and position for future opportunities.
* Creates an outcome focused culture that provides value solutions to ensure customer success.
* Provides a strong focus in the development of the business, both under existing contracts and the evolution of new offerings, including synergies and adjacencies with other parts of Amentum.
* Working with the wider Amentum business to create, shape and deliver innovative value adding solutions for our Customers.
* Proposing and implementing innovative value propositions in the market that support customer strategy and differentiates from the competition.
* Delivery of the Amentum, E&EI strategy and key outcomes, working in partnership with the wider business.
* Shaping customer thinking and supporting customers change programmes.
* An entrepreneurial approach, contributing to innovative and smarter value propositions and pricing/commercial offerings.
Obtained through, customer feedback, health of the prospect pipeline, sales bookings, win rates, and ultimately overall achievement of financial targets.
Delivery Excellence
* Ensuring that projects are transparent, ethical, effective, efficient and in line with the Amentum vision, mission and strategic goals, with appropriate governance in line with company policy.
* Cultivating Innovation and creating new and better ways for projects to be successful and drive positive change and continuous improvement.
* Embedding sustainability in solutions and project delivery.
* Prepare and own the project plans and forecasts (including risk and opportunity)
* Deliver, and drive to exceed, the agreed annual plan targets for Revenue and Gross Margin as well as driving to achieve the long-term strategic growth targets.
* Maximising Revenue through operational excellence, driving efficiency and ensuring accountability; holding self and others accountable to meet business and framework commitments.
* Keep DSO within 60 days or relevant contractual target (drive improved invoicing and payment)
* Stepping up to address difficult issues — saying what needs to be said and doing what needs to be done
Assessed by project KPI achievement, zero write downs and excellent Client feedback and ultimately overall achievement of financial targets.
