About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Gardener to maintain parks, green spaces, and landscaped areas. This Gardener role is hands-on and requires strong horticultural knowledge and practical experience.
Key Responsibilities
*
Carry out all duties expected of a Gardener, including grass cutting, strimming, and hedge trimming
*
Planting and maintaining flowers, shrubs, and trees as part of daily Gardener duties
*
Pruning, weeding, and general garden maintenance
*
Supporting soft landscaping tasks such as seeding, cultivation, and soil preparation
*
Operating equipment safely as a Gardener (mowers, strimmers, hedge cutters)
*
Maintaining high standards across all green spaces
*
Reporting faults, hazards, or issues to supervisors
*
Following all Health & Safety procedures
Requirements
*
Previous experience working as a Gardener, Grounds Maintenance Operative, or similar
*
Strong knowledge of horticulture and plant maintenance
*
Experience using gardening tools and machinery
*
Full UK driving licence (essential)
*
PA1/PA6 spraying licence (desirable)
*
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
