Essential Requirements & Skills We are looking for a Specialist Teaching Assistant who has: Experience supporting children or young people with SEN, ideally PMLD, complex needs, or Autism. A relevant qualification (e.g. Level 3 Teaching Assistant, Health & Social Care, or equivalent). A patient, resilient, and empathetic approach to working with children who have significant additional needs. An understanding of communication and sensory support strategies. A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
