This is a full-time role (40hr per week), which includes weekends and some evenings, operating an on-site working pattern. What are the responsibilities? Multi-Site Management: Effectively manage the unique challenges and opportunities presented by overseeing two separate store locations. Including: Prioritising tasks and responsibilities across both sites to ensure efficient operations and timely completion of key objectives. Proactively identifying and addressing potential issues or conflicts that may arise from managing two locations, implementing solutions to maintain smooth operations and a positive working environment. Effectively allocating time and resources between both stores to ensure equal attention and support are provided to each location, fostering a consistent brand experience and team performance. Customer Experience:Create memorable and inclusive customer experiences, ensuring each visitor has an exceptional Bird & Blend Tea Co. experience. Customer focus: Become a product and brand expert, confidently handling customer queries and resolving escalated issues promptly. Sales and Marketing: Drive your teams to meet sales targets and KPIs, implementing effective sales strategies in collaboration with Assistant Managers to enhance sales and customer experience. Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute local marketing initiatives to increase brand awareness and footfall in both store locations. Team Leadership and Development: Lead, motivate, and support your teams across both sites to achieve individual and collective goals.Provide regular feedback and coaching to enhance individual and store performance, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development. Recruit, induct, train, and develop high-performing teams, creating an inclusive and positive working environment in both locations. Operations Management:Oversee daily operations of both stores, ensuring smooth execution of opening and closing procedures, and compliance with company policies. Efficiently manage staff rotas across both locations, ensuring adequate staffing levels to provide excellent customer service. Maintain high visual merchandising standards, ensuring both stores are always exciting, inviting, and accessible. Stock and Sustainability:Manage stock effectively across both locations to optimise stock levels, minimise discrepancies, and ensure product availability. Plan and execute stock takes accurately and efficiently. Champion Bird & Blend's sustainability and impact goals, leading your teams to contribute to the company's B Corp commitments. Community Engagement and Events: Lead and host engaging in-store and local events, including evening events, to create memorable experiences for customers. Encourage and motivate teams to promote Bird & Blend teas through sampling and community engagement activities, both inside and outside the stores. Build and nurture relationships within the local communities of both stores to increase footfall and drive successful events. About you: Experienced Leader: At least 2 years of experience in a management role or similar, within a customer service environment. Passionate Brand Ambassador: Genuine enthusiasm for Bird & Blend Tea Co. and its values, inspiring your teams to embody the brand and culture. Sales Driven: Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving commercial success. Team Builder: Exceptional leadership skills, with a focus on motivating, supporting, and developing teams, fostering inclusive and positive work environments.
