Description Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, Lingfield Park Marriott Hotel & Country Club. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel’s employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc. Lingfield Park Marriott Hotel & Country Club Front Desk Manager Are you passionate about guest service and someone who strives to always go that extra mile? We are looking for a star-player to come and lead our Front Desk team – those who meet and greet our guests and are often central to the ‘memory-making’ elements of their stay with us. We need you to be motivated – and motivating; to support and encourage your team to anticipate guest needs (often before they know they need something) and then consistently deliver. Our hotel is part of Lingfield Park Racecourse and proud of its unique setting. No two days are ever the same with an eclectic mix of guests choosing to stay in one of our 116-bedrooms for either business, leisure, golf or horseracing. On top of the 18-hole golf course on site, our 4* hotel offers full leisure facilities comprising of a swimming pool, gym, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. Are you ready to come and join the ‘Lovely Lingfield’ team? Responsible for Front Desk daily operations and supervision of the Front Desk team. Position directs and works with associates to carry out guest arrival and departure procedures, ensuring consistent delivery of the highest standards of service, striving to ensure guest and associate satisfaction whilst maximizing the financial performance of the department. Key Responsibilities Deliver exceptional guest service and manage complaints effectively. Maximize room revenue through upselling and strategic initiatives. Ensure compliance with Marriott brand standards and audit targets. Lead and develop the Front Office team through regular reviews and training. Oversee daily operations including rotas, reporting, and guest facility bookings. Support safety, compliance, and cross-department communication. Utilize hotel systems (Opera, GXP, Marsha) to track performance and guest satisfaction. Qualifications & Skills Diploma or equivalent. 3 years in a hotel front office leadership role. Proficient in Marriott systems. Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills. Organised, proactive, and professional.
