Qualified Teacher – Special Educational Needs (SEN) School Location: Totton, Hampshire Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 8:45am – 3:15pm Salary: MPS/UPS – Pay to Scale Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Fully Qualified Teacher (QTS) to join a specialist secondary school in Totton that supports pupils with a range of complex learning difficulties, autism, profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD), and medical needs. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of young people who require highly individualised learning approaches and specialist support. The Role Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to secondary-aged pupils with a range of special educational needs. Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment. Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, healthcare professionals, and families. Develop and implement individual learning plans tailored to pupils' needs. Support pupils' academic, social, emotional, and communication development. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential. Experience working within SEN settings, particularly with pupils with autism, PMLD, severe learning difficulties (SLD), or complex needs. Strong understanding of differentiated teaching strategies.
