Stone Mason / Memorial Fixing & Repair
Permanent / Full-time – 39 hours per week
Stone’s the Monumental Masons is a very long-established independent family firm making and fixing memorials of the highest quality in both materials and craftsmanship. We are, and have been for many years, members of the National Association of Monumental Masons (NAMM), meeting the highest industry standards.
As part of a small but busy team of highly skilled masons this role is principally travelling out from our Weymouth works to carry out the fixing of new memorials, and the renovation and maintenance of existing ones.
You will need to be fit and capable of the manual handling of heavy pieces of masonry.
This role requires a full driving licence and need to be at least 25 years old for insurance purposes. Part of the role will be in driving out to churchyards and cemeteries covering a wide area.
Experience in memorial masonry, possibly to include holding a memorial fixer licence, would be appreciated; but is not essential.
Competitive salary dependent on skills & experience with a company pension scheme and 5 weeks paid annual leave per year.
