In this Finance Analyst role you’ll support the Commercial Marketing Director of Restaurants in optimising our drinks range to boost sales, margins, and efficiency. Partnering with the Commercial Drinks and Procurement teams, you’ll provide financial insight, challenge performance, and ensure targets are met across pricing, cost of sales, and product mix. You’ll also help streamline processes and lead impactful projects across the wider F&B Commercial team.
Responsibilities
* Provide financial control, insight, and recommendations to boost drinks sales and margins.
* Analyse performance drivers, from pricing and costs to product mix.
* Support stock forecasting to reduce waste and avoid stock-outs.
* Report on trials, sales initiatives, and key events to maximise returns.
* Partner with Procurement to manage rebates, trade investments, and tender processes.
What You’ll Need
* Degree-level education (or equivalent) with experience operating at this level in a specialist area.
* Finance qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) completed or in progress – study support provided.
* Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
* Commercial acumen with an understanding of business drivers impacting sales and margin.
* High numeracy and excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
* Ability to interpret, present, and communicate financial data to non-financial audiences.
* Organised, proactive, and adaptable to changing demands.
* Experience partnering with the business in a finance role and working with spreadsheet-based models.
* Proven ability to deliver accurately under pressure and to tight deadlines.
