Job Description Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Program Manager to join our Civil Platforms Portfolio team. Reporting to the Civil Portfolio Lead, you will be responsible for driving customer satisfaction and achieving business objectives across the full product lifecycle, from concept initiation (TG01) to product retirement (TG12). Job Description The Senior Program Manager will lead the program throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring successful execution of all contractual requirements and delivering on business and customer expectations. This role is accountable for program performance, including contract deliverables, financial objectives, and customer satisfaction. The Senior Program Manager will act as the primary interface between the customer and internal business teams, fostering strong relationships and driving program success. Key Responsibilities: - Program Leadership: Lead the cross-functional team to execute all contractual requirements, ensuring compliance and successful delivery of program objectives. Manage critical paths, realign priorities, and balance stakeholder requirements to achieve program goals. - Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with the customer, understanding their business structure, key stakeholders, decision-makers, and strategy. Act as the voice of the customer within the program, ensuring their needs are integrated into program activities. - Communication and Stakeholder Engagement: Drive effective and efficient communication across internal and external stakeholders, including GE sites and senior executives. Confidently present program updates in technical and business forums and manage challenging conversations when required. - Risk and Opportunity Management: Lead the team to identify, assess, and respond to risks and opportunities throughout the lifecycle. Develop and execute strategies to enhance the predictability of the business plan and ensure long-term financial goals are met. - Performance Management: Drive program performance, including NPI milestones, on-time delivery of Original Equipment and Aftermarket services, profitability, and design-to-cost activities. Remove barriers to execution and support readiness for manufacture, supply chain resilience, and aftermarket services. - Compliance and Governance: Ensure adherence to contract service, operations, and performance specifications, as well as financial and technical metrics. Champion compliance and incorporate best practices and lessons learned to achieve best-in-class program execution. - Resource Management: Support the EPM in determining required resources for successful program execution. Collaborate with resource owners to ensure effective allocation and utilisation to meet or exceed financial objectives. - Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with the FLIGHT DECK Team to drive LEAN methodologies into program operations. Collaborate with business functions to incorporate processes such as design for manufacture, design to cost, and strategic sourcing into program strategy and execution. - Supplier Management: Define product and service requirements and work with the sourcing team to negotiate supplier contracts that meet cost, quality, schedule, and strategic objectives. - Financial Planning: Support the development of financial plans, including budget planning and strategy reviews.
