We are currently searching for DOT inspection certified mechanics with 2+ years of tank and/or trailer repair experience for our Fife, WA location!
Address: 3443 20th Street E, Fife, WA. 98424
Shift Hours: Monday through Friday 7:00am-3:30pm
Pay Range: $28.00 to $34.00 per hour, dependent on experience.
(Skill-based pay rate reviews and potential increases every 6 months.)
Demonstrated skill in most of the following areas:
* The ability to diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical or other various systems on a tank trailer.
* Tank service and repair
* Trailer suspension installation and repair
* Experience with air brake systems and repairs
* TIG & MIG aluminum, stainless or carbon welding experience (preferred)
* Ability to effectively and efficiently inspect tanks and trailers to align with DOT standards (HM183, hazmat)
* Background in confined space entry (preferred)
* Must obtain a High School Diploma or GED
Physical Demands:
* The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
* With assistance, occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
* Must be able to fit through a tank trailer manhole
* Must be able to work in confined spaces
