About the Role
We are seeking a Principal or Associate BREEAM Consultant to join our teams across the UK. Your responsibilities will include:
* Leading a variety of assessment projects including BREEAM, LEED, Home Quality Mark, WELL, Fitwel, or CEEQUAL.
* Project management of our certification projects and liaising with specialists to deliver ESG strategies and reporting.
* Managing colleagues to deliver projects within time and budget.
* Engaging with other WSP disciplines for support works, e.g., Ecologists, Engineers.
* Line management of colleagues (optional).
What We Are Looking For
* Extensive experience leading sustainability assessments, including BREEAM.
* Technical capability within a professional consultancy.
* Proven assessment skills across various development types, with licenses in BREEAM (including BREEAM In Use), and knowledge of standards like LEED and WELL. Experience delivering multiple assessments to certification and liaising with BRE.
* A relevant degree and membership of an environmental, architectural, or sustainability body.
* Good knowledge of UK and European legislation.
* Understanding of UK and international assessment methods and protocols.
* Enthusiasm for energy and sustainability, with a proactive attitude to learning and growth.
* Strong project management and personal skills.
* Knowledge of building design, construction, and energy projects is an advantage.
