We are partnering with a high-growth, international business to hire a technically strong Financial Controller. This is a key role overseeing group reporting, guiding regional leaders, and supporting continued expansion through both organic growth and acquisitions. The organisation has grown rapidly in recent years and continues to scale globally.
This position is ideal for a Manager straight from an accountancy practice, or a technically solid industry-qualified Accountant with strong discipline, analytical ability, and reporting rigour. You will lead a team of three qualified accountants.
The Role
As Financial Controller, you will take ownership of group financial reporting and provide high-quality insight to senior leadership. Key responsibilities include:
* Full financial and management reporting across multiple recruitment brands
* Oversight of multiple entities, including several international operations
* Leading, coaching and developing a team of three qualified accountants
* Management accounting across multiple business units
* Working closely with MDs and senior leaders on commercial decision-making
* Strengthening debtor controls, contract governance and financial discipline
* Approval oversight for AP processing
* Supporting year-end reporting and technical accounting matters
What We’re Looking For
* Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA)
* Ideally trained in practice, strong technical accounting experience
* Experience supervising or mentoring other accountants
* Ability to challenge and guide senior non-finance stakeholders
