About The Role
As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It influences every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Every team member understands that our residents are people with their own stories, and joining us gives you a wonderful opportunity to give back to them.
Your responsibilities include planning and delivering care that promotes residents' security, dignity, and independence. You will get to know residents and their families to help deliver personalized care plans. Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will maintain high standards of care and influence your team positively. Whether assisting with mobility, end-of-life care, or communicating with families, you will do so with kindness.
You will assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager in providing social and recreational activities, administering medication, and maintaining accurate records. Ideally, you will have completed a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care and be working towards Level 3 or equivalent, with experience in person-centered care planning and dementia care. Your positive energy, ability to manage time, and considerate communication are essential.
