Pinnacle Group are looking for a Group People Director to oversee all aspects of people, culture and employee experience with Pinnacle Group. The Group People Director will sit on the Boards of our two operating divisions, Facilities Management and Homes, and report to the MD Homes on a daily basis.

Working with our Group Chief Executive and Executive Committee you will drive a culture of personal ownership and consistent goal achievement, overseeing the operations and initiatives that affect employee experience and drive company culture.With strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships through active business involvement and operational savviness, you will rapidly establish yourself as a trusted partner to senior colleagues across the business.
This is a hybrid role with frequent travel into our Holborn Head Office and other offices across the UK.

Key responsibilities will include:
Drive the Recruitment function to maximise its ability to support the Group's total recruitment needs
Drive efficient and effective talent acquisition, recruitment, and onboarding processes, ensuring we are attracting the best talent.
Support operational leaders drive productivity and performance through the development of the organisational development / business partnering function Define and lead a best-in-class employee experience (comprising also approaches to engagement /retention / wellbeing / EDI / culture);
Performance management - embed a performance management approach which fosters belonging and purpose, trust and recognition, continuous feedback, personal ownership, goal achievement and performance improvement, building a positive and inclusive workplace culture, ensuring that our people are living our values.
Employee voice - lead on embedding across the Group consistently. Development - foster career growth and advancement by helping our people managers identify development needs and succession opportunities and by building visible career pathways. Recognition - develop and embed our recognition framework consistently across the Group.
Organisational change - lead on the people elements of organisational change projects, including strategy, restructures, acquisitions, TUPE transfers and addressing specific business challenges.
Leadership of equality, diversity and inclusion initiatives.
Drive the efficiency and effectiveness of the HR operations & payroll functions
Leadership of HR operations & payroll functions, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations, as well as good practice.
Provide a high-quality HR function, with commercial, risk based advice and guidance on all people-related matters.
Maintain a focus on the wider employment landscape, ensure senior leaders are appraised of likely changes and the Group keeps abreast of pertinent issues likely to impact the business. Budget management and reporting
Own the financial, commercial and operational performance of the people function, manage the budgeting process, the performance regime and associated reporting
Key requirements:
An accomplished leader, with a positive solutions-focused approach and committed to the highest standards.
Able to command the confidence of senior colleagues, including the Pinnacle Group board.
Experienced in owning and developing people strategies from the ground up and right sizing for each organisation's stage of growth.
A solid track-record of delivering major organisational change programmes.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships through active business involvement and operational savviness, rapidly establishing yourself as a trusted partner to senior colleagues across the business.
Ability to convey key messages in a clear, precise and structured way with proven experience leading internal communications through change.
Strong people management skills: a track record of inspiring teams to reach their potential, creating a performance culture where people are empowered to deliver with a clear sense of direction, maintaining a focus on critical business objectives, fostering improvements and innovation.
CIPD accreditation preferably at Chartered Member level
