Overview
Family Help Senior Specialist Social Worker - West Locality - Ref: CH05425 – Walsall Council. G10: £45,091 - £50,269 per annum. This role is part of the Families First Programme and is building a combined, multi-agency locality Family Help Service, drawing on the strengths of the Family Safeguarding model.
Responsibilities
* Use your experience to enhance work with children, young people and families.
* Identify your specialisms and areas of interest, and access training to develop your expertise; opportunities to progress into Senior Practitioner, Consultant Social Worker and Lead Child Protection Practitioner roles.
* Be supported to maintain manageable workloads (average of 12 children), with high management support, essential paperwork only, enabling technologies, and training in Systemic Family Practice.
* Support equality and anti-discrimination principles and uphold safeguarding commitments; complete required DBS checks and related processes.
