We’re exclusively partnered with a respected global marine insurance broker seeking an experienced Business Development Broker to enhance their London operations. You’ll focus on cultivating insurer-side relationships within the Lloyd’s and wider London Market.
Location: London (Hybrid)
Salary: £75,000–£100,000+ DOE

Key responsibilities include:
* Developing new marine insurance business across H&M, Cargo, P&I, War, and specialist lines
* Negotiating placements with Lloyd’s and company market underwriters
* Strengthening and expanding insurer and syndicate relationships
* Advising clients within the shipping, trading, and energy sectors
* Collaborating with an international teams across multiple locations
What We're Looking For
* 5+ years’ experience in marine insurance broking or underwriting within the London Market
* Strong network across Lloyd’s and company markets
* Expertise in Hull & Machinery essential; broader marine lines desirable
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
* A self-starter with resilience, diplomacy, and commercial awareness
* Legally authorised to work in the UK
