Job Description
Pembrook Resourcing are currently seeking an experienced and organised Workshop Controller to join our client’s busy dealership. This is a key role within the aftersales department, responsible for ensuring the workshop runs efficiently while maximising productivity and profitability.
The successful candidate will act as the link between the Service Advisors and Technicians, ensuring all work is allocated effectively and completed to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities

Allocating work to technicians based on skillset and workshop capacity.

Monitoring workflow and ensuring jobs are completed within agreed timeframes.
*
Maximising workshop efficiency, productivity, and utilisation.
*
Liaising with Service Advisors regarding work progress and delays.
*
Ensuring all work is completed to manufacturer and safety standards.
*
Supporting the Aftersales Manager in achieving departmental KPIs.
*
Maintaining accurate workshop records and job status updates.
*
Assisting with technical queries and supporting the workshop team.
Requirements
*
Previous experience as a Workshop Controller or Senior Technician/Team Leader.
*
Strong technical knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair.
*
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
*
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
*
Strong leadership and communication skills.
*
Full UK driving licence.
