About the Role
An exciting opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist to work in our community Occupational Therapy service. You will work with people in their home environment, maximizing their independence, reducing the need for care support as appropriate, and supporting carers. This role supports people to achieve their daily living activities and enables access to community facilities for social and work activities.
About the Candidate
The successful candidate will have experience of working in collaboration with people, completing specialist assessments to identify solutions, and experience of adaptations which support independence. You will develop clinical skills, knowledge and experience in aids & adaptations, long‑term condition management, and applying social care legislation.
You will receive formal support, guidance and regular monthly supervision from your line manager or specialist experienced therapist, and informal support from therapy colleagues to help develop your confidence and abilities. Monthly team meetings, CPD sessions, practical learning sessions, formal and informal training are part of your development.
