We are looking for a highly organised and motivated individual to join the Patient Experience and PALS Team as a Friends and Family Administrator.
The Patient Experience and PALS Team is a forward-thinking, supportive, and driven team. Main duties of the job
You will manage communications related to the Friends and Family Test (FFT) and other patient experience initiatives. Your role involves supporting all aspects of the FFT service, providing clear guidance to teams across the organization.
As part of the Safety and Quality Directorate, you will deliver high-quality administrative support, facilitating communication and workflow. Your responsibilities include coordinating FFT reporting and patient engagement activities.
You should be flexible, proactive, and able to use initiative to resolve issues. Professionalism and effective communication with staff at all levels are essential. Strong IT skills, especially in Microsoft Excel and Office applications, are vital.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
* Respond to internal and external queries via phone, referring to appropriate personnel.
* Communicate with staff, patients, and visitors using various methods, tailoring information to the audience.
* Administer and maintain FFT and patient experience communications.
* Manage diaries for senior staff, organize meetings, and maintain accurate schedules.
* Provide administrative support to the Safety and Quality Directorate, including managing correspondence and filing systems.
* Follow up on issues with managers to ensure deadlines are met.
* Maintain efficient administrative systems, including message handling and document preparation.
* Organize meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, and follow up on actions.
* Create high-quality documents and presentations using IT tools.
* Coordinate with suppliers for equipment and stationery within budgets.
* Maintain up-to-date departmental activity information to answer queries promptly.

Qualifications and Education
* Good GCSE-level education or equivalent
* GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
* RSA II qualification or equivalent experience
* Shorthand qualifications
Knowledge and Experience
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
* Previous NHS administrative experience
