The hiring manager is reviewing profiles immediately. Most roles are based in Cheshire, with a small number in Glasgow or Central London. Candidates must live within a commutable distance, as on-site attendance two days per week is mandatory. Key requirements Proven delivery of security programmes with a strong cryptography focus (e.g. PKI, encryption, key management, certificate lifecycle management) Experience delivering technology or security projects within large financial services organisations Exposure to IAM, cryptographic services, encryption, or security infrastructure Strong stakeholder management across technology, security, and operations Track record of stable, long-term banking engagements Barclays experience highly desirable Role overview End-to-end delivery of cryptography and security projects in a regulated banking environment Management of timelines, risks, dependencies, and governance Alignment with security frameworks, regulatory standards, and audit requirements Senior stakeholder and third-party vendor engagement Contract 12-month initial term, likely to extend Inside IR35 Up to £500 per day
