Are you seeking a rewarding career working with young people with special educational needs (SEN)? At Term Time Teachers, we are looking for a knowledgeable and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join an rewarding, supportive school in Rye.
About the Role
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide tailored support to pupils with a range of additional needs. If you\'re seeking a rewarding career, this is the role for you!
Responsibilities
* Supporting students on a 1:1 or small group basis.
* Assisting with classroom activities.
* Helping to implement support plans.
* Promoting a safe, positive and engaging learning environment
Qualifications
* Previous experience working with children or adults with additional needs (e.g. in care work, schools, or residential settings)
* Calm, patient and empathetic approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A genuine passion for supporting SEN students
Relevant qualifications or training are desirable but not essential.
